Hoping Obama Fails: Why Rush Was Right

I remember the outrage in January of 2009 when Rush Limbaugh said on this show, “I hope Obama fails.”  It came back to me this month when Joe Scarborough, member of the 1994 Republican class, turned MSNBC sycophant said, I’m rooting for the President, we all are rooting for the President, if Rush Limbaugh is […]

“It’s about jobs!” “We have to grow the economy!” We hear the lament on the news and in speeches every day.  In fact, the news is on in the background as I type and the President just talked about eliminating red tape and regulations.  But the truth is, politicians of both stripes speak with forked […]

Proof We Can Cut Spending Everywhere

One suggestion I have made to get us out of the overspending-deficit mess we are in is to stop arguing over where we should cut spending.  We can easily find 10% waste in every single thing government does. So I suggest an across the board 10% reduction in all spending. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

Who’s Really Responsible for Monopolies?

On my 93.1 WIBC program  Friday 7/1/2011, we detailed the source of most monopolistic behavior in American business.  It’s not evil companies, it’s government control, regulation and meddling in the free market.  In a truly free market, monopolies can only exist for a brief blip in time, usually when a technology or idea is new.  […]
