Yep, We’re Creatin’ Us Some Jobs Up In Here!

“It’s about jobs!” “We have to grow the economy!” We hear the lament on the news and in speeches every day.  In fact, the news is on in the background as I type and the President just talked about eliminating red tape and regulations.  But the truth is, politicians of both stripes speak with forked […]

Proof We Can Cut Spending Everywhere

One suggestion I have made to get us out of the overspending-deficit mess we are in is to stop arguing over where we should cut spending.  We can easily find 10% waste in every single thing government does. So I suggest an across the board 10% reduction in all spending. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

We did an entire show about the body scanners and pat downs on WIBC before Christmas and while most people agreed with my point of view-they’re an invasion […]

Don’t Ask What Your Country Can Do For Your Company

…ask what your company can do for me.President Obama tried to channel JFK today, 2/7/11, and failed. His failure wasn’t in being eloquent or a good speaker: it was in the basic understanding of the role of business and the role of government in a free country.

Now for something completely different….

Normally I write about things that are driving me crazy, ususally politics or the increasing size and intrusion of our government in our personal lives. Damn! I couldn’t even make it through one post without mentioning it.  Oh well, the rest of this entry is about something good.  Actually, two somethings good.  In the past […]
